Post 4: CSS technique

For this post, I decided to take a look at the personal website my brother designed. The site works to illustrate his various skills, previous work experience, collaborate and individual projects, etc.

I really enjoy the cleanness of his site. It’s well organized, the content is sharp and easy to interact with, and the style is unique and reflective of what the site is about. He includes pictures that he has personally taken as the background of the site and centers them in the middle of the page with no repeat. The font is mostly white with some variations of lighter gray as to create contrast in the links and tabs.

The thumbnails of various projects he’s done are neatly organized and centered in the middle of the page along side each other in numerous rows. It’s easy for users to navigate through because of the positioning and placement, and the background image is complementary to the page without being distracting from the actual content.
